CHAS Certification Gained – 14 March 2016

We are very pleased to announce gaining our CHAS certification, we view this as being vital in offering our customers a clear understanding of our Health & safety policies and ensuring our technicians are able to move freely on customer sites.

About Chas

Participating in the CHAS scheme helps both suppliers and buyers.

• We can demonstrate compliance with important parts of health and safety law (the core criteria described in the CDM regulations).
• On achieving compliance we are approved to work for all of CHAS' buyers.(Some Buyers may require "Accredited" Status)
• Inconsistencies are reduced where some suppliers may be judged compliant by one buyer but not another.
• CHAS gives guidance on any weaknesses in a supplier's safety management, including how they can improve.
• Being a CHAS supplier or buyer saves both time and resources

We are delighted to have completed our CHAS certification which has beeen highlighted by many of our larger construction based customers as being useful to them but more recently of particular importance to our manufacturing base, with more & more customers investing in larger industrial 3D printers we are seeing installations in more challenging environments such as Shop floors next to CNC machines.

The growth in Industrial 3D printing can only see this trend continue and as far as we are aware no other commercial 3D printer supplier offers both CHAS & ISO:9001 service levels.
